The member of the Czech national team has been competing at the highest level of showjumping for a long time. She regularly competes in the Global Champions Tour series as an individual and in the Global Champions League series for the Prague Lions team.
In the stables of the Czech Equestrian Team, the emphasis is on competition horses. We strive to create above-standard training conditions for our horses so that they can perform 100% in competitions. We know that our competition stars won’t be jumping at this level forever, which is why we already have the offspring of our former stars running around in our stables. Every year we see these young hopefuls grow and we believe that you will see them at the competitions in the coming years.
The Czech Equestrian Team was founded with the idea to support the development of equestrian sport in the Czech Republic. Our first priority is to support talented athletes, people and horses, and to promote equestrianism among the general public. In 2018, we managed to organize the finale of the Global Champions Tour in Prague’s O2 arena and we followed up the success of these competitions by organizing the CSIO 3* Nations Cup at the Chuchle racecourse in Prague. In 2023, we organized the first ever Olympic team qualification at CSIO 4* for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris as part of the CET Prague CUP.
Since 2018, Prague has been part of the prestigious Global Champions showjumping competion series and thanks to this fact, it can have its own team, which has been named Prague Lions. A total of six riders will represent its colours in 2024. Let’s introduce them.
